Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead is an empirically based courage building program designed to be facilitated by organizational development professionals. The most significant finding from Brené's latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable. The Dare to Lead program focuses on developing these courage-building skills through workshops, training, and coaching to help individuals, teams, and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership.

Participants of the Dare to Lead Training are required to complete pre-assessment work reflecting on their leadership. These findings will aid the Certified Dare to Lead Facilitator (CDTLF) in facilitation of the content. Once individuals are trained, participants will receive a Dare to Lead™ Certificate, a Dare to Lead™ Trained Linked In Badge, a Dare to Lead ™Trained Email Badge, and the opportunity to co-facilitate with a CDTLF in the future as well as an opportunity to become a "Daring Teams Rollout Program Coordinator and Lead-learner".

Participants who successfully complete this Dare to Lead 3 Day Mini Retreat have the opportunity to extend their training and serve as a “Daring Teams Rollout Program Coordinator and Lead-learner” in their district. This is a separate training with an additional fee and requires registration for the Daring Teams Rollout Program by the deadline of October 15, 2021. Dr. Natalie Fikac is an educator with over 25 years of experience serving as a teacher, professional school counselor, campus level and district level administrator. She is also a Certified Dare to Lead Facilitator trained by Dr. Brené Brown. She has trained over 450 educators and leaders across the country in Brené Brown's Dare to Lead Training. She is the owner and lead consultant for Be Well, Lead Well LLC where she provides training, consultation and coaching with school leaders from across the country.
