“Ok class, it’s time to line up now!” “Ding, ding, clean up centers!” We all wish it were that easy--just say the directive and kids would go! Well, unfortunately, we see a lot of behaviors because our kids can’t always remember what to do or how to do it. Our patience in preschool is our greatest strength. We have to learn how to positively reinforce the teaching of lifelong, soft skills to our kids! This session will look at strategies for many transitions inside the classroom, outside the classroom or school, and switching classes or schools. Our kids need a lot of repetition, visuals, and practice. So, if you’re pulling your hair out wondering what else to try, come work together as we build up our transition toolbelt!
