Book Love: Creating a Culture of Reading at Your Campus




In this session you will acquire the knowledge and develop the skills for librarians and library para professionals.

Want to learn how to make reading and the elementary library the heart of your school? In this session you will learn specific ways to promote a love of reading at your school or district. Topics include book talking, parent newsletters, reading promotion incentive programs, and gaining principal and teacher buy in.

Presenter: Linda Sanchez, District Library Coordinator of Community ISD

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

There are 2 price tiers for this event:

  1. Members of the Region 10 Library Services Package receive free registration.
  2. Region 10 teachers and Out of Region teachers who are NOT members of the Region 10 Library Services Package pay $100.
