The TSIA2 exam is one path toward a student’s college readiness. In this session participants will receive an overview of college readiness in Texas before engaging in a deep dive of instructional targets to increase student success on the TSIA2. Participants will engage with sample test questions, explore test specifications, and utilize a variety of learning resources that can be integrated into existing curriculum.

In this session, we’ll examine specific teaching practices that will fine tune your thinking classroom. This session is the second in a series of workshops designed to introduce participants to the 14 teaching practices for enhancing learning outlined in Peter Liljedahl’s book, Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics.
