Navigating Explosive Behaviors
Developing a Resilient Child
Share
We will use recent brain research to explore realistic and effective strategies for helping students with explosive behaviors build resilience.
Important Session Information:
Feeling stuck and out of options for managing behavior? Using recent brain research, we will explore realistic and effective strategies for helping students with explosive behaviors build resilience. We will also discover the connection between chronic stress and challenging behaviors to shift our response from behavior modification to problem solving. Finally, we will explore Dr. Ross Greene's Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) model to approach behavior with a new lens. This session is adapted from the work of Dr. Ross Greene, Dr. Dan Siegel, Mona Delahooke and other leaders in trauma-informed education.
