Broadway Dallas: Tina the Musical

This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.

Important Session Information:

See TINA-The Tina Turner Musical at the Music Hall in Fair Park.  Overview:  One of the world’s best-selling artists of all time has quite an inspiring comeback story. She not only broke records but also broke barriers to become the Queen of Rock n’ Roll. Beyond her status as a triple-threat entertainer (singing, dancing, and acting), Tina Turner was also a devoted mother and experienced a variety of relationships. Centering on Tina’s relationships, the Broadway Dallas Teaching Artist will conduct a professional development session on emotional development between characters in theater and film. For more information about the show, please click the LINK: Broadway Dallas-The Tina Turner Musical.  From 5:00-6:30 p.m., there will be a professional development session led by a Broadway Dallas Teaching Artist.  From 6:30-7:00 p.m., there will be a catered dinner, and from 7:30 -10:30 p.m., attendees will see the show.
