**Please note, this learning experience is a virtual event and will not be hosted at a physical site.**
Skilled authors use tools and techniques to craft their masterpieces. If we want students to be better writers, then we must teach them the “art” of writing by exposing them to a variety of author’s craft moves and providing time for them to analyze and experiment with those tools. In this virtual asynchronous session, participants will clearly define author’s craft, idntify different types of craft, and learn strategies for using art and the reading/writing connection to teach the art of writing.
Deadline for Submitting Work: Participants must complete and submit required work by the course close on January 30, 2024. A Region 10 consultant will review all submitted work, and credit will be awarded upon successful completion and review. It may take a week after the course closes for certificates to be awarded.
