Gifted and Talented: Secondary Journeys
virtual 6-hour update




Understanding and supporting our gifted students in the classroom can be a challenge. Through this virtual course, secondary teachers will learn about various aspects of gifted education, including social and emotional needs, differentiated teaching strategies, equity, and advocacy. 

Important Session Information:


**Please note, this learning experience is a virtual event and will not be hosted at a physical site.**

This six-hour update will provide teachers opportunities to learn about meeting students’ unique intellectual, social, and emotional needs. Participants will attend Zoom sessions and watch videos, to take a journey through the latest research, new understandings, and teaching strategies in gifted education. 

There is no partial credit for attending this virtual conference. Participants must attend three live Zoom sessions the day of the conference and watch two video sessions and submit documentation for each of them in order to earn their 6-hour update credit.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Please note: You must register for the webinar in two places:

  1. Register for the event on the Region 10 Calendar of Events.
  2. Register for the webinar on the Zoom link.

All participants registered on the Region 10 website will receive login information prior to the webinar date.

After you register, you should receive an email from messenger@esclive.net with the course details. Please make sure to check your spam/junk folder.

THERE ARE TWO PRICE TIERS FOR THIS EVENT

  1. REGION 10 GIFT & TALENTED COOPERATIVE MEMBERS RECEIVE FREE REGISTRATION
  2. IN-REGION/OUT OF REGION, NON-COOPERATIVE MEMBERS PAY $100.
