This Social Studies professional learning opportunity will provide support with implementing the Social Studies TEKS, research-based instructional strategies focused on inquiry, historical thinking and future-ready learning and access to quality resources targeted to provide support for all grade levels.


Important Session Information:


Join Erika Lowery from the Institute for Curriculum Services as we explore the Middle East’s complex and diverse religious landscape and consider a variety of ways that religion and politics are intertwined in Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, and Iran. *Note: This will be a virtual session with a focus on preparing teachers to teach social studies TEKS surrounding religion and politics.
