This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.


Important Session Information:


Counselors play an integral role in the success of CTE programs. This course will outline the role counselors play in CTE, the impact they can have on students and their post-secondary plans, and how the Effective Advising Framework from TEA can help build a strong CTE and CCMR program. Participants will gain a greater understanding of the basics of CTE and the role counselors play, identify potential gaps in their CTE programs, and have a working understanding of the Effective Advising Framework and its impact on students and CTE programs.
