Outdoor Education for PE and Science Teachers
An Outdoor Education Workshop by Texas Parks and Wildlife and R10 at Cooper Lake State Park

This Outdoor Education workshop co-hosted by Texas Parks and Wildlife and Region 10 will help teachers confidently teach outdoor education to their PE classes or incorporate outdoor education activities into their science lessons. Join us for fire building, primitive cooking using a Dutch Oven, how to teach the night sky in the daytime, making observations through Birding, the importance of Nature Journaling, and the basics of Fishing. We’ll have a working lunch, so bring a sack lunch, snacks, and a refillable water bottle. Dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather.
