Day 2: Basic Welder Qualification - Classroom

Basic TEA welder certifications, how to conduct, log in, submit and view certifications.

AWS D1.1 Tack, AWS D9.1 Fillet Testing, AWD D1.1 and ASME BPV Code Fillet Testing

Basic weld inspection tools, (provided) Fillet size and Undercut Gauges

Other certifications in AWS SENSE and AWS Certified Welder, how to obtain.

Day 3: Advanced & Basic Welder Qualification- Welding Shop- Hands on

Teacher practice, testing and certification of AWS D1.1 and AWS D9.1 welder Qual Tests.

Teacher demonstration, and training

Participants MUST bring the following supplies:

1/4" x 2” x 6’ steel plates , 3/8” x 3” x 6’ steel plates, 1/2" x 4” x 4” steel plates, 1/8” E7018 welding electrodes, ER70S-6 GMAW wire
