The role of the assessment varies In CTE, and it can help teachers better understand students degree of mastery of a topic. Beginning with the end in mind, assessments and rubrics provide the guideposts for student understanding. Participants in this session will build their knowledge of types and roles of assessments, the best practices for creating and administering assessments, and how to develop quality rubrics.
