Targeted PBIS Implementation (Tier 2)

Day 5:

In this session, Targeted PBIS Implementation (Tier 2), participants will:

• Deepen your knowledge of the PBIS three-tiered model

• Demonstrate the relation between TIER 1 and Tier 2 systems and supports

• Examine key components and features of effective Tier 2 systems

• Integrate new knowledge by completing a Tier 2 inventory and action plan

In the afternoon session, Trauma-sensitive Schools, participants will:

• Understand the research on adverse childhood experiences

• Define childhood trauma

• Describe stress and fear responses

• Outline attributes of a trauma-sensitive school

• Summarize trauma-informed care within a multitiered system of supports (MTSS) framework

This cohort has content that builds upon each session, participants will need to attend the first session and prior sessions to each day.
