In Day 1 of the Constructed Classroom, participants will learn the critical elements of classroom design to support a variety of student needs, whether in self-contained classrooms or inclusive environments. Participants will analyze the learning environment and the need to provide visual clarity to build independence, and walk away with an improved functional learning space that encourages prediction skills, supports transitions, and increases compliance. By incorporating physical structure, visual accommodations, and building routines, educators will find that they are redirecting less and focusing on skill-building more!
NOTE: Participants are asked to bring a photo or brief video on their phone, laptop, or tablet of their current classroom set-up to this seminar for design planning.
*You will automatically be enrolled in the Day 2 & 3 sessions on September 14 and October 17*
