A high-quality Early Childhood Special Education classroom provides students with opportunities for exploration and discovery through the use of hands-on experiences in learning centers. It is important to target skills students need to be successful while building on the student’s current level of understanding. During this make and take session, participants will create thematic activities that can be immediately taken and implemented into an Early Childhood Special Education or Prekindergarten classroom. Participants will collaborate to align these activities to the Prekindergarten guidelines and use the Early Childhood Outcomes Document to scaffold activities for all learners.
