In this session, Instructional Leaders will engage in meaningful authentic learning experiences that will build their capacity to support the teachers at their campuses serving English learners. By joining this Cohort, participants will be able to build relationships with individuals that share similar roles and experiences while learning new strategies and collaborating.
In the Destination ESL Cohort participants will engage in the following topics through an instructional coach lens:
Experiencing a Day in My Shoes, an EL simulation.
Basics of Sheltered Instruction
Why Language objectives?
Linguistic Accommodations
Focused Targeted Language Interventions
Progress Monitoring and Collaboration
Participants will be required to attend all 3 sessions to get the full benefit of joining the cohort. No partial credit will be given.

1. Members of the Region 10 English Learner Support Services and Title III SSA EL Support Services Package and R10 staff receive free registration.
2. Out of Region staff who are NOT members of the Region 10 English Learner and Title III SSA Services Package will have a fee of $450.00.
