Approaches to Writing Aligned Curriculum




This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist World Language (LOTE) educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.

Important Session Information:


In this half-day workshop, teacher teams will unite to examine approaches to writing World Language curriculum.  Teams will read research on effective curriculum including understanding by design, backward design and what curriculum is and isn’t.  They will work together to craft a vision for their student learning outcomes and examine how to map the LOTE TEKS on a year at a glance template (YAG). 

THERE ARE TWO PRICE TIERS FOR THIS EVENT

  1. REGION 10 WORLD LANGUAGES PACKAGE MEMBERS RECEIVE FREE REGISTRATION
  2. IN-REGION/OUT OF REGION, PACKAGE MEMBERS PAY $300.

           DISCOUNTS WILL BE REFLECTED AT CHECKOUT.
