Child Nutrition Programs (CACFP)
Financials and Resource Management (Virtual)




The Child Nutrition Program provides technical assistance, training and resources to child and adult day cares and school districts in order to promote effective management of the federal funded nutrition programs. This is in accordance with United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) regulations.


Important Session Information:


As CACFP funds are federal funds, there are requirements for how the funds are to be used and documented. This hybrid training will provide an overview of the components of a financial management system and requirements including;  budgeting, tracking transactions and record keeping.
