Each year following submission of your data, TEA offers a clarification window during which time LEAs are contacted by TEA and provided the opportunity to submit updated SPP compliance data. LEAs may correct data entry errors and provide documentation of correction for non-compliance based on the two criteria outlined in this OSEP memo 09-02).
Each LEA offered this opportunity has three options: do nothing, verify noncompliance, verify corrections. Please review this TAA from 8/4/2022 as you determine how you will proceed. The window for clarification will close on August 23rd (see 2022 SPP Clarification Timeline).
In order to support your understanding of this process Region 10 consultants will offer a session on August 18th, 2022 from 1:00-4:00 following the special education leadership meeting. This session will be made available via zoom for those of you who do not attend in person, and a zoom link will be shared with all who register for this session in ESC works.
