STAAR Alternate 2 Assessment Training
Looking at the Released STAAR Alternate 2 Assessment




STAAR Alternate 2 was designed to assess students in grades 3–8 and high school who have significant cognitive disabilities and are receiving special education services. STAAR Alternate 2 Assessment training will provide guidance in administering the STAAR Alternate 2 assessment and will cover the participation requirements, ARD committee responsibilities, test design and sample questions, response modes, and security procedures. 

Both morning and afternoon sessions are the same.

For teachers new to administering the STAAR Alternate 2 assessment, this is a chance to look at released tests to gain some familiarity with the test format and scoring for each question in a cluster.
