Religion and Politics in the Middle East/Environmental Cooperation as a Path to Peace in the Middle East




This Social Studies professional learning opportunity will provide support with implementing the Social Studies TEKS, research-based instructional strategies focused on inquiry, historical thinking and future-ready learning and access to quality resources targeted to provide support for all grade levels.


Important Session Information:


This session focuses on the complex and diverse religious landscape of the region and considers the ways religion and politics are intertwined in each country and the Middle East. Participants will then transition into environmental challenges in the Middle East that are being addressed through peaceful transboundary collaboration and the introduction of new technologies.  Participants will explore those challenges around water resources.  This session is brought to you by Instructional Curriculum Services.
