Join the ELAR TRS team on-site at Region 10 ESC as we learn more about the guaranteed and viable curriculum that TEKS resource system provides. Throughout this session we will: practice navigating through the TRS platform, review documents that assist and guide the instructional planning process, internalize a TEK unpacking routine that will ensure student expectations are taught to their full specificity, and plan for Unit 1 by unpacking the IFD, performance assessment and student expectations. This session is designed to support educators who are new to the profession, teaching a new grade level, or wanting to connect with educators across the region. This on-site training is the first in a series of trainings where we will meet to discuss and unpack individual ELAR units by grade level. Subsequent trainings will be held via Zoom once a nine weeks and posted here in ESC works, these dates will be provided at this training. Join as we plan for a successful year of learning!
