The theme this year is "Embracing Multilingualism" because we recognize that our students are not only continuing to develop their home language(s), but are also learning additional languages(s). We want to embrace the beauty of multilingualism and the benefits that it encompasses.

While serving multilingual students is the focus of our symposium, many of the practices we would offer are applicable to ALL students. This is why we are inviting educators from departments that include Bilingual and ESL, Special Education, Gifted and Talented, Early Childhood, Dyslexia, and Migrant.

Our audience will include teachers, administrators, counselors, department coordinators, paraprofessionals, parents, college students, and others wanting to attend.

1.    Members of the Region 10 English Learner Support Services and Title III SSA EL Support Services Package and R10 staff receive free registration.

2.     Out of Region staff who are NOT members of the Region 10 English Learner and Title III SSA Services Package will have a fee of $150.00.
