High Leverage Teaching Practice—Guiding Students to Interpret Authentic Texts




This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist World Language (LOTE) educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.

Important Session Information:


**Please note, this learning experience is a virtual event and will not be hosted at a physical site.**

In this synchronous, Zoom workshop, teachers will experience a model lesson for interpretative communication using an authentic text.  After analyzing the lesson steps, teachers will apply their knowledge by crafting an aligned learning objective for an interpretive lesson.  For extension, teachers will design the rest of the lesson steps using the World Language lesson cycle.

All participants registered on the Region 10 website will receive Zoom login information prior to the webinar date.

  1. REGION 10 FINE ARTS/WORLD LANGUAGES COOPERATIVE MEMBERS RECEIVE FREE REGISTRATION
  2. IN-REGION/OUT OF REGION, NON-COOPERATIVE MEMBERS PAY $100.

           DISCOUNTS WILL BE REFLECTED AT CHECKOUT.
