Twice Exceptionality (K-12, 6 hours) In education, students who qualify for gifted programs as well as special education services are described as “twice-exceptional” learners. These children often get lost, and because of their talents, these students often find themselves hiding in the “average” populations. In this session will learn what it means to be 2e, how to help identify those students in our classrooms, and how to help cultivate their gifts as we address their needs.
This session is an asynchronous learning opportunity. Content will be shared via Google site and an application of learning and reflection will be submitted for credit. Submissions will be due no later than midnight on Monday, November 8, 2021
