Cracking the Code with Counters & Cubes
Grades K-2

This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.

Important Session Information:

Are you seeking fun and engaging strategies to develop number concepts and meanings for their operations? Research suggests that the greatest predictor of school success is early number sense. Cracking the Code demystifies the process, as participants play with counters and cubes to lend insight into the learning progression of counting, building number sense through number relationships, and how this lends to the facilitation of invented addition & subtraction strategies.

There are two price tiers for this event:

  1. Members of the Region 10 Instructional Practices Package receive free registration.
  2. R10 teachers and Out of Region teachers who are not members of the Region 10 Instructional Practices Package pay $100.00.
