This session fulfills requirements for Day 1 of the 5-day foundations training for teachers of the gifted and talented: Nature and Needs of Gifted and Talented Students. It is designed to be part of the entire 30-hour training mandated by Texas Administrative Code, and should not be used as a 6-hour GT update unless prior approval is given from the participants district.
This session is a blended learning opportunity. Two required Zooms on the specified date will include a morning explanation of the remaining asynchronous work and an afternoon sharing of your proof of learning. Additional content will be shared via Google site and Pear Deck slides where reflections will be embedded. The afternoon Zoom will include sharing of proof of learning and must also be attended for credit. Participants should plan on spending the day completing the course.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
