**Please note, this learning experience is a virtual event and will not be hosted at a physical site.**
Spend time this summer planning for August back-to-school (and future gatherings) by exploring the ideas from the book The Art of Gathering.
The purpose of this cohort book study is to create a community of learners who want to design and facilitate more purposeful meetings, professional learning sessions, and events by applying the principles in The Art of Gathering to the “education world.”
This course will be available from June 10 through July 29, 2021. In order to receive six hours of PD credit, participants will read the book independently, participate in online discussions, and submit a reflection “portfolio” to highlight changes made based on the book’s ideas. This book study will start and end with optional 45-minute gatherings via Zoom. Reflections must be completed and submitted by July 29, and certificates will be awarded by August 13.
If you would like to know more about The Art of Gathering before joining this book study, listen to this podcast interview with Priya Parker or watch her TED talk.
