Planning for Comprehensible Input




This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist World Language (LOTE) educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.

**Please note, this learning experience is a virtual event and will not be hosted at a physical site.**

Facilitating target language comprehension is one of the ten high leverage teaching practices for World Language teachers (Glisan & Donato 2019).  In this synchronous, zoom session, participants will define comprehensible input, experience a model lesson and deconstruct the practice to learn specific teacher moves needed to ensure that students understand when the teacher is speaking in the target language.   

Please note: You must register for the webinar in two places:

  2. Register for the webinar on the Zoom link.

All participants registered on the Region 10 website will receive Zoom login information prior to the webinar date.

THERE ARE TWO PRICE TIERS FOR THIS EVENT

  1. REGION 10 FINE ARTS/WORLD LANGUAGES COOPERATIVE MEMBERS RECEIVE FREE REGISTRATION
  2. IN-REGION/OUT OF REGION, NON-COOPERATIVE MEMBERS PAY $100.

           DISCOUNTS WILL BE REFLECTED AT CHECKOUT.
