This series is designed to prepare teachers to take the TExES #190 BTLPT exam to obtain a Bilingual Certification. The content covered in the test is organized in 4 domains. Each one of these domains is divided into competencies that address the standards teachers must know in order to obtain certification. This course includes a series of 4 1-hour sessions that will focus on each of the 4 competencies. The sessions will provide an overview of each competency, providing participants with a review of the content they must study and master as they study for the test. Participants have the option to pick and choose the sessions they would like to register for based on their needs, however, registering for all sessions in the series will ensure participants cover all competencies needed to be successful on the test. A total of 4-hour credit will be given if all 4 sessions are taken. Each session provides 1 hour credit.
This session will cover all 4 domains in the series:
Domain I: Listening
Domain II: Reading
Domain III: Oral Expression
Domain IV: Writing

1. Members of the Region 10 English Learner Support Services and Title III SSA EL Support Services Package and R10 staff receive free registration.
2. Out of Region staff who are NOT members of the Region 10 English Learner and Title III SSA Services Package will have a fee of $150.00.
