New Teacher Survival Kit




This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist World Language (LOTE) educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.

Important Session Information:


In this workshop, teachers who are brand new or one to three years into teaching in the state of Texas will discover through experiential and collaborative learning the tenets needed to help students develop language successfully in the classroom:  planning with backward design using the TEKS and the lesson cycle, delivering instruction using high leverage teaching practices and assessing student language performance and creating a positive classroom environment. 

THERE ARE TWO PRICE TIERS FOR THIS EVENT

  1. REGION 10 FINE ARTS/WORLD LANGUAGES COOPERATIVE MEMBERS RECEIVE FREE REGISTRATION
  2. IN-REGION/OUT OF REGION, NON-COOPERATIVE MEMBERS PAY $150.

           DISCOUNTS WILL BE REFLECTED AT CHECKOUT.
