**Please note, this learning experience is a virtual event and will not be hosted at a physical site.**
Academic rigor involves supporting students as they become increasingly able to think critically and independently. Instructional scaffolding and easy-to-implement differentiated opportunities can increase the capacity for academic rigor. In this asynchronous course, participants will earn professional development credit by applying an understanding of scaffolding and differentiation to specific TEKS for an upcoming lesson.
After registering, participants will receive an email with a link to the Google site that houses all course instructions, videos, and required activities. Participants must complete required work by March 19, 2021. A Region 10 consultant will review all submitted work, and credit will be awarded upon successful completion and review.
There are two price tiers for this event:
- Members of the Region 10 Instructional Practices Package receive free registration.
- R10 teachers and Out of Region teachers who are not members of the Region 10 Instructional Practices Package pay $100.00.
Discounts will be reflected at checkout.
If paying by purchase order, please email a copy of purchase order to Mary Matzek at mary.matzek@region10.org or fax a copy of PO to Mary Matzek at (972) 348-1395.
