Multi-Cultural Education for School Leaders
Share
In this interactive session, participants will explore multicultural education as a system of delivering basic educational concepts and incorporating practices that will allow ALL students to be successful. Communities in Texas are experiencing tremendous growth, which includes growth in diversity. This diversity includes different physical and mental abilities, gender, ethnic and racial backgrounds, socioeconomic classes, languages and millennia. Implementing a multicultural education has many advantages, including opportunities to create genuine engagement in classrooms and beyond and increase students’ performance. Participants will explore strategies and ideas to engage campuses in a multicultural education perspective and practical ways to implement strategies.
