Eric Litwin: The Power of Joyful Reading




When young children are immersed in joyful and engaging shared reading experiences throughout the day, something wonderful happens. They learn to love books, enjoy reading, and see themselves as readers. They also gain reading skills and knowledge, which prepares them for reading instruction. This session based on his new book gives you what you need to transform your classroom into a "reading playground" - a space in which children read along to, sing to, dance to, and celebrate words and texts. Teachers will have a great time and learn important skills that help them keep reading joyful in both in person and virtual classrooms.

THIS IS A ZOOM SESSION.
(This session is VIRTUAL and will not be physically presented at Region 10).

This exciting session will be available both synchronous (live online) and asynchronous (for future reference) for participants who register in advance. The LIVE online session will be presented on November 3, 2020, from 4:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m.. Upon the conclusion of the LIVE session, registered participants will receive a link to watch the session anytime between November 4th and November 11th. If you are unable to attend the session LIVE, CEU credits will not be awarded. Only participants who watch the session LIVE will receive CEUs.
