Remote Teaching and Formative Assessment - Presenter Dr. Dylan William

In this online presentation, Dylan Wiliam will show how the practices of effective classroom formative assessment can be easily adapted for use in remote teaching. Participants will learn a number of practical techniques that can be used in synchronous and asynchronous settings in order to share learning intentions with students, to find out where they are in their learning, to provide effective feedback to students, and to harness the power of students as learning resources for one another and as owners of their own learning. Participants will also learn how they can support their colleagues in supporting each other in the development of their formative assessment practice through the use of building-based, teacher-led, learning communities.
