**Please note, this learning experience is a virtual event and will not be hosted at a physical site.**

Description: Restorative Practices is the social science of relationships and community that focuses on inclusive processes. These processes foster a supportive community that leads to social emotional as well as academic growth. The most informal  and easily implemented approach to restorative practices is through the use of affective language. These crucial tools allow for real expression for both positive or negative behavior. Using affective statements or “expressing your feelings” is the easiest way to connect to another person. Affective questions help us reframe our thinking when dealing with conflict.
