How are you growing your teachers? How do you know that your “teacher-growing” strategy is actually impacting students? Texas Lesson Study (TXLS) is a proven framework for job-embedded professional development. No more hit-or-miss, stand-alone workshops. No more bringing in “outside experts” who pack up and take their processes with them when they leave. This session will show you how TXLS complements many state initiatives (i.e. ESF, TIL, SLOs, T-TESS, T-PESS, and Title II, Part A) and how to make TXLS a primary vehicle for increasing instructional capacity in a campus or district. Intended audience: Teacher-leads, Instructional Coaches, Administrators

• Note: This session is an asynchronous opportunity to learn at your own pace, whenever, wherever! Content will be shared via Google Site and reflections must be submitted for 3 hours of CPE. Region 10 ESC Facilitators are also available to help campuses implement the program at no additional fee for the 2020-2021 school year.
• Reminder: Participants will access all course content through the Google site, and to receive the 3 hours of CPE, participants will be required to submit a checklist with attached completed activities by 11:59 pm CST on the closing date of the course.
• You will receive 3 hours of professional development credit, posted on your Region 10 transcript, within a week of the course close date., after materials have been received and reviewed.
• All coursework must be completed and submitted by 11:59 pm on July 30 (for the July session).
