Authentic writing tasks prompt genuine student engagement and develop students’ unique voice. Providing feedback that guides future thinking will allow students to cultivate transferable writing skills through these authentic tasks. Participants in this one-hour webinar will be able to design authentic writing experiences using mentor texts and provide high-yield feedback to develop secondary students as writers.
