**Please note, this learning experience is a virtual event and will not be hosted at a physical site.**
How can visual note-taking improve learning, understanding, and retention? Sketchnoting is purposeful doodling, and is a way to summarize information in a creative and visual format. During this session, educators will learn the basics of sketchnoting and find ways to utilize visuals for their own teaching and learning. This session will be facilitated by non-artists so remember, mindset over masterpieces. Please plan on using analog or digital supplies (pens, markers, iPad/tablet, stylus) and be prepared to create and collaborate.
Sketchnoting Across the Curriculum is an asynchronous opportunity to learn at your own pace, whenever, wherever! Participants will access all course content through a Google site and will share examples of sketchnotes in a digital portfolio to receive credit. Participants will work July 16 - July 31, and all work will be due on July 31, 2020.
