Perhaps the greatest struggle in the elementary Social Studies classroom is figuring out how to make time to teach it. In this session we will explore the Streamlines Elementary Social Studies standards and focus on how to best integrate them with the new ELAR standards by examining common areas to suppor the balanced literacy skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking.
