What does proficient writing look like, according to the English I and English II EOC rubrics? What are the grade-level expectations for students taking the writing portion of the EOC? How can teachers use the rubric accurately to evaluate and guide student writing beyond the “basic” level? In this session, we will analyze the EOC Writing Rubric, review best practices, and collaborate with colleagues as we calibrate by scoring released writing samples.
