Socratic Questioning for Differentiation
For Secondary Teachers of all Content Areas




This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.  

Important Session Information:


The Socratic method aims to engage both teacher and students in an open-ended dialogue, and utilizing Socratic questioning in any classroom can create opportunities to address students' individual perceptions, understandings, and needs. This session will provide an overview of six types of questions and various methods to frame a lesson around questioning strategies. Some attention will be given to Pre-AP and AP courses in this session for secondary teachers.
