Formative Assessment Strategies and Techniques. The session stresses the importance f using formative assessments, either formal or informal, to drive instruction.  Participants will experience several formative assessment strategies or tools to use in the classroom, with and without technology. Participants will understand the difference between descriptive ad evaluative feedback and how meffective feedback can be on students' learning.
