This two-day professional development session is a function-based approach to teaching Algebra, with a particular focus on quadratic functions within the Algebra I TEKS. Participants will analyze lessons and tasks, as well as examine strategies for supporting students who struggle in mathematics, including English Language Learners. This session is Part 2 of the Focus on Algebra series written by and based upon the research of Pam Harris.
