This is for for K-12 - General Education & Special Education Teachers
This professional development opportunity will provide teachers (general education and special education) a full day workshop to learn immediate strategies to help struggling readers practice what good readers do naturally. Teachers will learn how to teach students to pay attention to every word, read with a high rate of accuracy, and use strategies for attacking unfamiliar and multi-syllable words. This session is designed to target teachers who work with students who are struggling with reading or is a student who is identified with a specific learning disability in the general education classroom setting.
