We all interpret the world through our emotions and within the context of social interactions. We are human. But how do we anticipate and allow for this basic human function within our classrooms? This is not fluff. In this workshop, we will peel back what it means to have heightened social and emotional needs and the added impact of students from an array of backgrounds. Most importantly, we'll explore what a teacher can do to support the social emotional needs of gifted learners.
