Passport for Paraprofessionals

Every teacher should be lucky enough to have a paraprofessional in the classroom. In an early childhood classroom, the paraprofessional supports the teacher in providing a classroom environment that promotes the academic, social, and emotional growth of our youngest learners. This workshop is designed specifically for paraprofessionals who work in an early childhood setting. Topics for exploration include: developmentally appropriate practices, instructional strategies, behavior management, and supporting diversity in the early childhood classroom. You will leave with a variety of skills and resources to foster a strong foundation for success in early childhood education.
