Web Accessibility Training - Google Slides

Please join us as we cover a brief introduction to web accessibility then learn how to create and remediate accessible Google Slides which comply with guidelines based on the American with Disabilities Act.  Properly compliant slides allow EVERYONE, including those with disabilities, to benefit and access the information you're trying to share.

  • Do you know what makes a slide title accessible and what doesn't?
  • Have experience creating or changing a slide layout?
  • Do you know what good color contrast means and how to check it?
  • Do you know how to lessen the amount of Alt Text needed?
  • Have you used Grackle to check your slides?
  • Are you familiar with slide structure order?

If you answered 'no' to any of these questions, this class is for you!

This class is appropriate for all levels of experience.

Bring your laptop for hands-on experience as we work through accessibility exercises.
