Turbo Start: A Dyslexia Curriculum for Newly Identified Students presented by Scottish Rite for Children




The Turbo Start curriculum is a nine-week, evidence-based dyslexia intervention designed to provide a jump start for newly identified students of all ages who need comprehensive dyslexia intervention while awaiting placement in an intervention group. Derived from the evidence-based dyslexia curriculum, Turbo Start provides foundational training in the five components of effective reading instruction, including phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, reading comprehension. Each component is taught developmentally using a direct, systematic, cumulative, multisensory method of introduction and practice to meet specific needs of newly identified students with dyslexia. Participants MUST purchase the Turbo Start curriculum from Scottish Rite for Children.

Materials will cost $90 per participant paid directly to Scottish Rite.

There are two price tiers for this event

1.       Region 10 public local education agencies receive free registration

2.       Out of Region and/or Private/Non-Profit entities pay $175.00
